This CQI/IRCA-recognized course (IRCA Course No. 2088) provides training on ISO 50001:2018 Energy Management System auditing. Developed in compliance with ISO 19011, ISO 50003 and ISO/IEC 17021 requirements, the program covers a full understanding of EnMS elements and offers a practical framework to plan, carry out, and report first-, second- and third-party audits. The training is intended to equip participants with the knowledge and capabilities to lead audits independently and help organizations meet their energy-management goals and improve overall energy performance.

Prerequisites:.
Participants enrolling in this training are expected to have a foundational understanding of Energy Management System principles. This includes familiarity with key energy concepts such as energy usage, energy baseline, EnPI, energy savings, organizational roles, and management responsibilities. Awareness of the terminology, definitions, and requirements of ISO 50001:2018, along with applicable legal and regulatory obligations, is recommended.
A working understanding of the PDCA methodology will further support the successful completion of the course.
